This website is a dedicated showcase for the photography services at Blue Island Media.
We have traded under the names Slippery Fishes and Thameside Photography in the past, but we are still the same people, same great services, same reasonable pricing!
Our award-winning multimedia projects include World Whisky and Eyewitness Guides alongside high-profile work for the public and private sectors. Photography has always been a large component of our work, notably in the Londoner’s Diaries, Betjeman’s Best British Churches, Dragons’ Den and a myriad of ghost mannequin designer dresses, food and drink, and architectural photography subjects.
Blue Island’s photographer Michael Ellis studied to a masters level at Glasgow School of Art, working across a range of media, including photography, film, video, text and sound. He has been photographing professionally since 2002. See his blog on “All the Work That’s Not Work” for his thoughts on architectural photography and related subjects.
